Telephone Interviewer
Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone interviews to collect opinions for professional and consumer research studies.
- Conduct telephone interviews in assigned language fluently with respondents for purpose of collecting survey data by verbatim reading/speaking a prepared survey text to respondents
- Listening for responses and typing respondent’s responses into computer system via computer keyboard with a high degree of accuracy
- Ensure appropriate respondent is being interviewed
- Persuade reluctant respondents to participate in survey
- Know and adhere to data collection Quality Assurance standards
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older and student in good standing; GED or diploma required otherwise
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in specific language required of the survey reading, writing, speaking fluency in the language in which the survey is being conducted.
- Ability to follow survey script verbatim; to read all survey questions exactly as they appear on the video screen; ensure the correct respondent is being surveyed and, ensure a high degree of respondent understanding of survey.
- Ability to record respondents responses with 100% accuracy - neither adding nor deleting information - in CATI system.
- Six months of computer or keyboard experience and one year of customer service experience are preferred but not required
