Executive Team

Luis E. Durazo

Chief Executive Officer Founding Partner.

Luis Durazo was born in San Diego, California and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. He brings over ten years of marketing research experience in market research and telephone data collection to his position at Americas Survey. Luis was responsible for supervising over 100 interviewers and managing a variety of research projects. As a Senior Project Director for a local research firm, Durazo gained extensive experience in project management, sample management, data collection and processing, as well as Quancept software and SPSS. Luis was primarily in charge of tracking studies involving the high tech industry. He is recognized by many of his peers for his expertise in the Hispanic and General US markets due to his bicultural heritage and industry experience. He earned a BA in Business Administration from the Universidad Autonoma De Baja California in Mexico. Durazo oversees all operations and financial decisions at Americas Survey and is highly involved in Project Management and all corporate concerns.

Victor Mayer

Chief Operations Officer Founding Partner.

Victor Mayer was born and raised in San Diego, California. He brings more than twelve years of experience in the market research and data collection industries to his post at Americas Survey. Before becoming a partner at Americas Survey he worked with both the US General and Hispanic markets for consumer and business-to-business studies in both the quantitative and qualitative aspects. He was responsible for coordinating numerous qualitative and CLT groups across the United States. Mayer has professional experience working with various sampling methodologies such as listed surname, hybrid, and radius, RDD, DMA, MSA, and panel member sample. Mayer is responsible for project management on Americas Survey's business-to-business and executive interviewing studies, as well as overseeing all production of client studies. Mayer attended San Diego State University in San Diego.

Joe Andere

Director of Client Support.

Joe Andere was born in Mexico City and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He brings over ten years of sales experience and client relationships. Prior to joining Americas Survey Jose was an Director of Sales for a well know language institute, he also worked as an account executive for Mexico's Largest Telephone Company. Working for Mexico's most important Telephone Company, he gained extensive experience in building client relationships and client support. He earned a BA in Graphic Design from the Universidad de Queretaro and has certifications form the Telmex Technology Institute, Dale Carnegie and Sales Force.

Rodrigo Zapién

Director of Business Development.

Rodrigo Zapién was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, and has lived in both cities having a bi national perspective towards market research. Graduated from Engineering in Computer Sciences in Telecommunications from the Tecnológico de Baja California in Mexico he brings a clearer understanding of the data collection process thought the CATI system as well as data processing and sample management. Rodrigo is in charge of Business to Business studies and technology unscripted projects in Latin America that require a more specialized profile for respondents and agents.
